I actually am pleased when I see your newsletter in my inbox. (You can use that in your promotions.) Since you didn't ask, I have a comment, a picayune suggestion, and a question.

1. Comment: That video of tech ads was a total delight. Thanks for sharing it.

2. Picayune: "An us," as in "an us and a them" doesn't scan as well as you may think.

3. What if your company is in a generally stultifying segment, like IT operations or financial controls ? ( o offense intended, ops folks and controllers!) Your buyers have been groomed to expect stultifying messaging and copy. Can you succeed with this group by breaking the mold?

I like that you think I proofread these :)

You can 1000% succeed by breaking the mold. I've quoted this here a few times before, but Jeremy Irons gives an amazing speech in the movie Margin Call. He says that in business there are 3 ways to succeed - be first, be smarter or cheat. "Now I don't cheat...and it's a helluva lot easier to be first." If you are the first to do something, that is your best option for how to break out of the noise.
