OMG I'm glad I wasn't the only one suddenly seeing all of those gallery posts on Instagram that have a few sentences on each slide about how "they made a mistake" or whatever, and they know I'm gonna scroll through and read each one because I'm addicted to gossip, but then finally on slide 10 they're like LOL GOTCHA. Whoever did it first, bravo. But when EVERYONE started doing it, I just started scrolling past.
First, we're not better than this. We're worse. I contend that smart is great, but clever is irritating. Everyone thinks they're clever, but We Who Watch Mad Men (And You Will Know Us By Our Trail of Mad Men) know that only Roger Sterling can be clever and get away with it, but only because he's so smart. Cue Lane Pryce and Pete Campbell fist-fighting in a conference room.
I was really bummed when Granola moved away from the sweet before/after graphic they had in their first fold. The before was just a bunch of random words, the kind you take in meetings to jog your own memory later. I thought it was super effective at conveying what they do well (take good notes for you unobtrusively unlike the Fathoms and Otters that are always pestering call participants) but I guess that they don't need to establish the need for an AI note taker as much anymore.
Also, your list of (fake?) streaming services reminds me of this TikTok series from the creator Jay Cote – I think you'd enjoy: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DBhVpguxGmQ/

And you will know us by the trail of mad men....
hahahahahahahahahahahah
(and now I have The Rest Will Follow in my head...)
Watched all 7:10. Thank you to Dan B.
I understand the person who pays $50,000 for a good seat, but who pays $11,000 for a bad seat, or more likely, $22,000 for two bad seats?
I was actually talking to another friend about this - I assumed that anyone paying $11,000 would pay $25,000. But apparently not.
Paul Hwang is clearly a millennial.

And, thanks for your restraint when writing 'like a public bus in Delhi.'
I was wondering when Gul would make an appearance.
"it contains its own antonym"
that was restraint???
By not using ‘literally.’
Okay, “…Fulp or Queg or Skeezbox or Sculpty+…” made me literally lol. As in the dogs looked up, startled, to see if I was okay. Well done!
Also, I see “Queg” as the hip Moby-Dick prequel spinoff show about Queequeg and his pals
BRILLIANT!!!!! Also they're vampires.

It's a great callout of how they've changed now that the category is established...
