So, you're heaping more blame on Ernie and Bert? Haven't they endured enough?

You missed the part of the Bert & Ernie thing that was most striking to me - Bert mentions that he wears the cowboy hat to play cowboy. Is Bert a child? Or is Bert a man who likes to play cowboy?

Um, is Bert a child? Is Bert an adult? Bert is a puppet. Can’t he just be a puppet?!*

*no

He’s Schrodinger’s muppet. Simultaneously a child and an adult. And felt.

Is an appropriate solution constantly asking WTF in team meetings until someone actually answers said "wtf"?

(Is it legal to use parentheses (tall, curvy punctuation mark used to set off material that isn't fundamental to the main topic) inside parentheses)? (See the 3rd paragraph of the Fish in a Cowboy Hat section).

I think it would be illegal not to use it.

(I always thought of you as unflappable, but clearly (and obviously) double parentheses are your breaking point) :)

My takeaway is this: Ernie is an a-hole and he's to blame for the $1.7m commode (link). This also reminds me of the Halloween party that Joe Z and I went to circa 1999. We were going to meet there and we planned to go as Bert and Ernie (I was Ernie, of course). I dressed up, Joe Z did not. While semi infuriating, it also provide almost unlimited comedy fodder. Anyway. What were we talking about again? Oh yes, Ernie's problems with going to the bathroom.

I’m glad Joe Z has finally made a gobbledy appearance.

Fish in a cowboy hat is brilliant and rivals bike shedding for poor group decisions and outcomes.
